Ramadan 1447 AH countdown

Ramadan is the ninth month of the Hijri calendar. Muslims fast from dawn until sunset throughout the month. The countdown uses the Gregorian date corresponding to 1 Ramadan in the Umm al-Qura calendar for planning. The start of the month in Saudi Arabia is confirmed by the official moon-sighting announcement, so the displayed date remains provisional until that announcement.
