Date of Start of Winter next date

This date follows the traditional al-anwa calendar, rather than the astronomical winter solstice.

About Start of Winter

In the al-anwa calendar used here, winter begins with al-Merba'aniyah, followed by al-Shabt and then the first two periods of al-Aqarib: Sa'd al-Dhabih and Sa'd Bula. Sa'd al-Su'ud, the third period of al-Aqarib, marks the transition to spring in this seasonal system.
