About Al-Merba'aniyah
Al-Merba'aniyah is one of Saudi Arabia's best-known cold seasons. In the calendar used here, it lasts 39 days and comprises three periods of about 13 days: al-Iklil, al-Qalb and al-Shawlah. Its name refers to its duration of roughly forty days. It marks the start of winter in this traditional seasonal calendar.
